Minutes of Public Heering
Petition of vacation of Ridgewood Court cul~de-Sac
December 3~ 1962
The meeting w~s oalled to order by Mayor Ash"ach at 9:20 p.m.
Roll Calla Present _ Mayor ftshbaCh. Trustees Crepeau. Olmen
and Kennedy.
Absent _ Clerk Lorraine stromquist
Also Present _ Atty. Jos. Salland~ Asst. to Village Atty.
. Mayor Ashbach read the notice of the public hearing on vacation
of certain property located in the Village 01' Arden Hills as per
attached.
Owners of the properties involved are L. Dwight Crouse. 2530 Siems
Court. owner of Lot 9 _ as described as per attached~ and Hamline
University and Mrs. Patricia Patterson~ 3511 Ridgewood Road~ o~ners
of Lot 9~ Arden Hills, as described as per attached.
James Kelsey. 3541 Ridgewood Road, stated that he did not feel
that sufficient ti~e had elapsed to determine if the culdde-sao
1s adequate.
Mrs. Carolyn '1'19s01. 3566 Siams Court. was concerned with future
development. She stated that at this time there are six lots
vacant and 'Was concerned about the additional population using
the oul-de-sac.
Trustee Kennedy suggested thut the Village negotiate w1th Mrs.
Patterson for a 10 foot ease1<.ent for snow removal purposes before
releasing that portion of Lot 9.
Referred to Village Attorney to confer with Mrs. Patterson.
Matter also referred to the Village Engineer.
Trustee Kennedy moved the meeting adjourn until January 26, 1963 =
seconde~ by Trustee Crepeau. motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 9855 p~m.
