SECTION 2. Section 4 of Ordinance Number 18, known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hel'eby amended to add the following under "Permitted Uses:" R-3: Multiple Dwellings REGULATIONS FOR MULTIPLE DWELLING DISTRICTS In the mllltiple dwelling district, unless otherwise provided in this ordinance, no building or land shall be ul>ed and no builrlinK shall here- after be erected or structurally al- tered except for uses permitted with respect to oiher residential dis- tricts as hereinheforeprovided, or except for use as a multiple dwell- ing, including pa~.ticularly, but with- out limitation, double bungalows, apartments and flats. In addition to the zoning of the property to R-3, no construction of Buch multiple dwellings shall com- mence until a building permit there~ for shall be granted by the Council. Application for such a permit shall be made to the COllncil. In consider- ing such application the Council shall J?roceed in accordance with t.he provisiOn!' of Section 5 of this Ordi- nance and may prescribe, as a con. dition to the issuance of such per_ mit, suitable off street parking, screen planting, and set-backs in ac- cordance with the provisions of Section 5 hereof, or such other con. ditions ns the Council mny deem proper in accordance with general purposes of this Zoning Ordinance.
