Pursuant to due call and notice thereof ill special meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, Vias
duly held at the Village Hall in said Village on Thursday, the 3rd
day of August, 19M at 8:eO o'clock P.t.'..

of notice of hearing on the prOposedsupplementa 1 reassusment and
Stromquist, Olll'4ln,
reapportionment of original assessments for Sanitary Sewer
I!':"provement No.1 In The Rose Tribune on July 13 and. July 20, 1961. in
accordance with the resolution adopted July 10, 1961, which affidavit
was examined, found satisfactory, .and ordered placed on file.
The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the considera-
tion of objections to proposed supplemental assessments, reassessments
and apportionMent of previous assessments in respect to Sanitary
Sewer Improvement No.1, flaid;:,riginal heating beinghel,d september 9,
1960 and said assessment roll as amended being. ad~ed September 9,
1960 and <;.rtified to the County Auditor on ~tGber .;24, 1960. All
persons present were then, given an opportunity to pr.set oral objections,

2. It i8 hereby found and determined by this Council that the
feregoing amendment to said proposed assessment is just and equitable,
and nee. nary to a fair auessment for paytMnt of the eost of said
improvement.
The motion for the adoption of the feregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Member Kennedy, and upon vote bdng taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: All
and the following voted against the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
Member Crepeau then introduced the following resolution and
~oved its adoption:
RESOU.ITroN ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING
REASSESSMENTS FCR .sANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1
BE IT R~sOtVED by the Vll1age Council of the Village of
,t,rden Hi.lls, ~"inn.sota,. as follows:
1. The amount proper and necessary to be specially reassessed at
this tiffie for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1 a9ainst every assess-
able lot, piece or parcel of lapd affected thereby has bun duly
calculated upon the basis of benefits,w1thoutregard to cash
valuation, in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes,
Chapter 429, and notice has been duly published, as required by law
that this Council would meet to hear,condder and.pass upon all
e>bjections, if any, and said proposed reassessment has at all times
since its Hling been open .for public inspection, and anoppo;tunity
has been given to all interested persons to present their objections,
if any, to such proposeduassessments and said proposed reassell.ment
has been amended as to urtain parcels of land, by resolution duly
adopted this date.
2. This CouncH, haviri9 heard and conddered all objections so
presented, and being fully iildvised in the premises, finds that each
of the lots, pieces and parcels of land enumerated in the proposed
reasselsment as so amended wag and is specially .benefited by the
construc~n of said improve~nt 1n not less than the a~unt of the
reassessl!lent set opposite the description of each such lot, piece and
parcel of land, rltspectively, and such alllOunt 60 set out is hereby
levied against each of the respective lots, pieces and .parcels of
land therein described.
~. The proposed reasseSSll':ents as amended are hereby adQpted
iind confirmed as the proper special assessments for each of said lots,
pieces and parcels of land respect i vely, and the reassellment against
r"ach parcel, together with interest at the rate of "1% per annum
accrui~g on the full a~ount thereof from ti~e to ti~e unpa~d, shall
be a lien concurrent with generaltaxe, upon such parcel and all,thereof
