SUBJECT: Highways IO and 96 Improvement Project
On Monday, May 14, following the regular meeting, we will have a Work Session discussion
regarding the proposed Highway 10 and Highway 96 improvement project. Previously
distributed to you were a draft Resolution and a new concept design from SEH. (If you need
another copy of either of these items, please let me know.) While you have received these items,
as a Council you have not yet had the opportunity to discuss them and provide feedback. Both
items represent efforts to capture discussions to date, public input, and engineering information.

As you know, the goal is to determine a preferred concept that can be used to proceed with
predesign work. Determining a preferred concept also allows us to communicate an official City
position to MnDOT, Ramsey County, neighboring communities, and our residents.
If you agree on a preferred option, then at a subsequent Council meeting we will be presenting an
amendment to the PDA and a Resolution regarding reimbursement for predesign funds, both
substantially similar to the actions you took relating to County Road H.
