ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS CALLTOORDEWROLLCALL Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Stan Harpstead called to order the special City Council meeting at 8:39 p.m. Present: Mayor Stan Harpstead, Councilmembers David Grant, Brenda Holden, Fran Hohnes and David McClung. Absent: None Also present were Michelle Wolfe, City Administrator; Karen Barton, Community Development Director; SEH Representatives Mark Benson, and Jaimie Sloboden; Greg Hoag, Public Works Director; Kris Giga, Civil Engineer; Jim Tolaas, Ramey County Public Works APPROV ALOF MEETING AGENDA MOTION: Councihnember Holden moved and Mayor Harpstead seconded a motion to approve the meeting agenda as amended. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). RESOLUTION 07-39 SUPPORTING THE TRANSFER OF THE WILDLIFE CORRIDOR AND PROPOSED ATHLETIC FIELD Mayor Harpstead stated that the change suggested by Council was to delete the clause at the end ofthe paragraph that was of concern to Councihnember Holmes. MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councihnember Holden seconded a motion to approve Resolution 07-39 supporting the transfer of the wildlife corridor and proposed athletic fields for public purpose. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). FOURTH AMENDMENT TO THE TCAAP OFFER OF PURCHASE Ms. Barton stated the City was not able to reach an agreement with the GSA on some requirements of amendment three to the Offer to Purchase, which had a deadline of March 30th. The City agreed with the GSA in a phone call earlier this week to create amendment four, SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING - MARCH 29, 2007 extending the deadline. Ms. Barton stated that Attorney Mike Comodeca was available by phone to answer questions. MOTION: Mayor Harpstead moved and Councihnember Grant seconded a motion to approve the fourth amendment to the TCAAP Offer to Purchase as drafted, dated March 20, 2007 and indicated to staff that they execute the amendment as soon as possible.
