FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS COMMITTEE MEETING
WEDNESDAY, MAY 23, 2007; 7:00 P.M.
ARDEN IDLLS CITY HALL
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Staff liaison, Sue Iverson at 7:00 p.m.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Scott Bronson, Jeff Johnson, Maurice Gieske, James Ostlund, and Al Hilgers
OTHERS PRESENT: David Grant, City Council Liaison; and Sue Iverson, Finance Director.
MEMBERS NOT PRESENT: None
2. ORGANIZATIONAL DUTIES:
The committee selected Scott Bronson as chair, and James Ostlund as Vice-Chair.
Committee terms will expire as follows:
James Ostlund December 2008
Al Hilgers December 2008
Jeff Johnson December 2008
Scott Bronson December 2009
Maurice Gieske December 2009
The committee meetings win be held the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Upstairs
Conference Room at City Hall.
3. COUNCIL UPDATE
Councilmember Grant gave a brief update on Council proceedings and City matters.
4. BUDGETING AND FUND ACCOUNTING TRAINING
Finance Director, Sue Iverson, gave a presentation training on City budgeting, accounting and internal
controls.
5. AJOURNMENT
Meeting was adjourned at 9: 15 p.m.
