Town Hall Meeting Discussion . {; '1.
Staff requests direction from staff regarding the scheduling of a Town Hall meeting. At a recent
meeting, there was discussion about trying to schedule the Town Hall Meeting for a week night in
January. With holidays in January, and the need for two TCAAP-related Work Sessions, (January 7
tentative to discuss financials and density, an additional work session to meet with Ryan Companies on
various matters), staff is suggesting that the Council consider Monday, February 4 for the Town Hall
Meeting. If that is not a good night, staff requests that Council bring calendars to the Work Session on
December 17 and we can select a date and time during the course of the meeting.
Also during the work session, if Council has any specific direction regarding format or other details,
they should be relayed to staff. Otherwise, we will proceed with plauning a meeting similar in format
to the 2007 meeting.
