US Highway 10 and CSAH 96
At the August 13 and 20, 2007 City Council Work Sessions, discussions were held regarding
status ofthe highway 10 and County Road 96 projects. As a result of the Work Sessions in
August another concept was developed with less impacts to the west side of highway 10. This
design was discussed with the City Council at the September 17, 2007 Work Session. After
discussion on this design representatives from MnlDOT offered to take an independent look at
these projects and have an in-house team of designers attempt to come up with other options.
MnlDOT held an internal design meeting for this project on November 28,2007. On December
6, 2007 the City received copies ofthe concept and phasing options that MnlDOT designed.
Representatives from MnlDOT will be present at the Work Session to discuss the results oftheir
internal design meeting.
At the Work Session on January 22, staff would like the City Council to continue discussions on
the Highway 10/96 projects and to provide staff with direction for next steps.
