SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

LAKE JOHANNA FIRE STATION No.3
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Present:
Mayor Stan Harpstead; Councilmembers David Grant, Brenda Holden,
David McClung, Fran Holmes; Assistant City Administrator Schawn
Johnson; Fire Chief Tim Boehlke; Elected Officials from the City of
Shoreview and the City of North Oaks.
DISCUSSION
Fire Chief Boehlke explained that the purpose of the meeting was to provide a department
overview for the elected officials in the three Lake Johanna Fire Department cities. He discussed
the history of the department, the types of calls the department responds to, the number of
department members, types of equipment they own and operate, recruitment methods, and other
general information about the operations of the department. Those in attendance were able to ask
questions and learn more about the fire department.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Harpstead adjourned the Special City Council Meeting at 7:55 p.m.
