Motion to authorize City Staff to Begin Summer Work Hours on June 2,
2008 and Conclude on August 29, 2008
Overview
City staff is seeking City Council authorization to begin summer work hours on June 2, 2008 and
conclude on August 29, 2008.
Background
In the past, the City Council has authorized City staff to begin summer work hours the week after
the Memorial Day holiday and conclude summer work hours the Friday before Labor Day. Staff
proposes the following work hours for the summer of2008:
Traditional Hours ProDosed Summer Hours
City Hall Staff 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday- 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday.
Friday Thursday
7:30 am to 11:30 am on
Friday
Maintenance Facility Staff 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday. 6:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday.
Friday Thursday
6:30 am to 10:30 am on
Friday
Recommendation
Motion by the City Council to authorize City staffto begin summer work hours on June 2, 2008
and conclude on August 29, 2008.
