SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
MARCH 24, 2008; 6:00 PM
ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, SMALL CONFERENCE ROOM
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Stan Harpstead called to order the regular
City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m.
Present:
Mayor Stan Harpstead; Council members David Grant, Brenda Holden,
David McClung, Fran Holmes and Harry Brull from Personnel Decisions
International.
Mayor Harpstead moved approval of the agenda (seconded by Councilmember McClung)
containing one item; interview of three prospective candidates for position of City Administrator.
Motion carried 4-0.
Harry BruIl led a discussion of interview questions and the recruiting process for the position of
City Administrator. A discussion ensued.
Harry BruIl excused himself at 6:30 pm and City Council interviewed three candidates at
6:30 pm, 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm, for one hour each.
ADJOURN
MOTION: Mayor Harpstead moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a motion to
adjourn the meeting. The motion carried unanimously (4-0).
