Between January 2007 and January 2008, the City's portion of the tax was $3,418.90. Revenues in a reduced amount (only one
establishment) will continue to come to the City until the agreement expires in December, 2009.

RESOLUTION NO. 2008-023
A RESOLUTION TERMINATING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF ARDEN HILLS AND VISIT MINNEAPOLIS NORTH CONVENTION AND
VISITORS BUREAU TO COLLECT THE THREE PERCENT LODGING TAX
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills is a party to that certain Convention and
Visitors Bureau Agreement dated December 16, 2004 ("Agreement");
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills wishes to terminate its participation in the
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Arden Hills City Council:
I. That the City terminates the Agreement.
2. Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, the termination shall become
effective December 3 1,2009.
3. That the City Administrator is directed to forward a copy of this
Resolution to the Executive Director of the Visit Minneapolis North
Convention and Visitors Bureau or its successor organization.
