AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOA THE VIOLATION THEREOF The Viliage Council of the Village of Arden Hills dcea ordain as follows: Section 1. No peraon shall leave a motor vehicle unattended on any public road or publie property in the Village of Arden Hills, . or upon any unattended parking lot gen- erally held open for the use of the pwblic and operated in eonnection with a commercial or businees establiahment in the Village of Arden Hills, without first stopping the engine, locking the ignition, removing the key from the igni- tion of said motor vehicie, and taking the said key with him. Section 2. Pulice authorized to remove keya. Whenever sny police officer of the Village finds any such mator vehicle standing in violation of Section 1 auch police officer is authorized and c}irected to remove therefrom the ignition key left therein and to deliver the same to the officer in charge of the police depart- ment. Section 3. Penaltiea. . Any person violating any provision of this ordinance shall be guilty of a mis- demeanor and upon conviction shal] be punished by a fine not to exceed One Hundred Dollara ($100.00) or imprieon- ment not to exceed ninety (90) daYS.
