AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORD.
NO. 79, RELATIVE TO ADOPTION
OF TAE HIGI3WAY TRAFFIC REG-
fiLATION ACT; ADOPTING THE
HIGHWAY TRAFFIC REGULATION
kCT AS AMENDE,D THROUGH 1967;
AND PROVIDING PENALTIES
THEREFO'R.
The Village Council of Arden Hills
does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Ord. No. 79, relatin%r to
adoption of the Highway Traffic Regu-
lation Act of the State of Minnesota, is .
hereby repesled.
Section 2. High.vay Traffic Regula-
tion Act Incorporated By Reference. The -
regulatory provisions of Chapter 169 of
Minnesota Statutes Annotated, as
amended by Laws 1967 and Extra Sea-
aion Laws 1967, eommonly known as
the Highway Traffic Regulation Act,
re hereby adopted as a traffic ordi-
nance reKUlating the use of hiehways,
atreets and alleye within the Village of - Arden Hills, and are hereby incorporat-
ed in and made a part of this Ordinanee
as comFletely as if set out herein in
full .
Section 3. Penalty. Any violation of
the Statutes adopted by reference in Sec. 2 hereof is a violation of this Or-
dinance when it occurs within the limits
of the Village cf Arden Hills. Any per-
son violating any provision thereof shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall
- be punished b9 a fine of not to exceed
One Hundrec? Dullars ($100.00) or by
imprisonment in the County jail for a .
period of not to exceed 90 days.
3ection 4. Effective Date. This Ordi-
nance shall become effective upon its
