AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDI-
NANCE NO. 18, THE ZONING OR,DI-
NANCE, TO DEFINE "FARMB" ' AS

The Village Council op the Village of
Arden $ills does hereby ordain as fol-
lows :
Sectian 1. Sectian 2 of Ordinance
Number 18, known as the Zoning Ordi- ,
nance, is hereby amended to add there-
to the following paragraph, to-wit:
Farma: Farms as used herein, and
. particularly as used in Section 4 hereof shall mean land aress con-
sisting of not lesa than seven con-
tiguous acres irsed for the purpose
of carrying pn bona fide farming
operations as, for example, the rais-
ing o£ crops of any kind, keeping
or raising ]ivestoek of any kind.
In areas in which farms are permit-
ted no stable, barns, corrals, pena,
warrena, coops, perchea, or other
buildings for the housing, contain-
ment, shelter or feeding of livestoek
fowls or animals kept or raised on
snch farms shall be built or main-
tained within 200 feet oP the bound-
arp of said farm, except such as may 1
have been maintained thereon on the
effective date of this Ordinance, De- ~
cember 6, 1966. Sueh nan-conforming
struetures shall be subject to the
provisions of Section 7 hereof.
8ection 2. This Ordinance shall be
effective from and after its passage and
publication.
