AN ORDINANCE PERMITTING
PARTIAL PRE-PAYMENT OF
ASSESSMENTS BEFORE CER-
TIFICATION OF THE ASSESSMENT
ROLL TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR.
The Villaye Council of the Village of
Arden Hllls does heroby ordaln as follows:
Seetion 1. Partlal Prapayment af
AsseumeMS Permittetl. After adoption of
an assesement roll punusnt to Chapter 429
of Minnesota Statutes Annotatod, aa
amentletl, and beforc certiftcatlon of seld
asscsamont roll fo ibe County Auditor }he
proper officlals of ihe Village are
authorized and directed to eccept partlel
pre-payment of said asseumonts, but not
less than 50 parcent of tho emount of eny
assessmant, and reduce the emount cer-
tifletl to the County Auditor accortlln0ly. As
providotl by law, such partial pro-paymonta
mey be accoptetl only durlnq the thirty day
period followin9 approval of tha asseasmont
roll.
Seetlon II. Seope. Thfs ordlnanee shall
apply to alt assossmFnt rolls which hsvo
besn adopted by the Councll but not yst
certiflod to tha County Auditor, Includin9
thoso aaseasmont rolls etloptetl September
28, 1970, and To all sssossmont rolls sub-
saquently adopted by tho Council.
Section I11. EfhNive Oah. This or-
dinance shall be effective from end after Its
pasaaye end publication.

assessment, and roduce the amount cer-
tified M the County Auditor accordinqly. As
provided by law, such partlal pre•psyments
may be accepted only duriny the thirty dey
period following approval of the auossment
roll.
SOetion II. Seope. This ordinanca shall
apply to all assessm¢nt rolla which have
been adoptad by the Council but not yet
certificd to the CounTy Auditor, Inclutling
those assessment rolls adopted Septomber
28, 1970, and to all assessment rolls aub-
sequently adoptad by the Councll.
