VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS
ORDINANCE NO. 79
AN ORDINANCE REPLALING ORDI-
NANCE'S NUMBER TWd AND TWEN-
TY BEVEN, AND ADOPTING THE
HIGHWAY TRAFFIC REGULATION
ACT OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA,
A3 AMENDED BY THE LAWS OF 1963.
The Village Council of Arden Hills
does hereby ordain as follows:
Section 1, Ordinances Number 2 and
27 are herebq repesled.
3ection 2. Highway Traffic Regulation
Act Inwrporated By Reference.
The regulating pravisiona of the Min-
nesota Statutes 1961, Chapter 169, as
amended by Laws 1963, are hereby
adoAted as a traffic ordinance regulat-
ing the use of highways> atreete and al-
` leys within the Village of Arden Hil[s,
and are hereby incorporated in and made
a part of this ordinance as completely
as if set out herein in fu1L
Section 3. Penalty.
Any violation of the atatutea adopted
by reference in Section 2 is a violation
of this ordinance when it occurs within
the limita of the Village of Arden Aills.
. Any person violating any provision of
thia ordinance ahall be guilty of a mis-
deameanor and shall be gunished by a
fine of not more than One Hundred
Dollars ($100.00) or by imprieonment in
the county jail for a period of ninety
(90) days, bwE if a different fine or im-
prisonment is prescribed by the State
gIighwsy Traffic Act far an offenae, the
penalty prescribed in said State Aigh-
way Traffic Act ahall apply to s person
convicted of the sasne offense under this
ordinance.
Section 4. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall become efPective
upon its passage and publication.
