The Villaqe Council of'the Village of Arden Hills does ~
hereby ordain as follows: a
Section 1. Amendment of Section 11_(A)(5) of Ord. No. ;

11(A)(5) o Or . No. 49, relat ng to the charqes in the ~
Municipal Sanitary 5ewer System, previously amended by Ord.
No. 141, is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows:
. (5) The charge for sewer structures connected to
the Arden Hills Municipal Sanitary Sewer System
and not included within the foregoing categories
shall be at the rate of $0.63 per 1000 gallons
consumed on the subject premises durinq the
preceding qtwtar. In the event that property :
within the cateqory described in this Paragraph ~
(5) is connected to the sanitary sewer system
and no water usage basis for the precedinq
quarter is available, as will be the case with
new construction, then the sewer rate charge
for such property shall be based on the
estimated water ueage of such property as made
by the Clerk-Administrator after consultation
with the Arden Hills Superviaor of Public Works,
' with such determination to be made on the basis
of their best judqaiant with respect to similar
usages in Arden Hills and elsewhere. w;
In no event, however, shall any property con-
nected to the MunicipaZ Sanitary Sewer System
be charqed less than the rate charged a single-
family residence-as provided in Paragraph (1)
hereof.
Section 2. Amendment of Section I1(B) of Ord. No. 49,
as Amende by Or . No. Re Bi n Dates. Sectzon 11 B)

Section 4. Permissible Reductions for Senior Citizens
and Dis e itizens. e ounc may, y reso u ion at its

of the Municipal Sanitary Sewer System in cases of ownership
or occupancy of the subject property by citizens 65 years of
age or older or by citizens who are totally disabled within
the meaning of Social Security regulations.
Section S. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be
effective rom an a ter the irst day of January, 1973, but
not before its passage and publication.

Section 11(a) (5) of Ord. No. 49, relating to the charges
in the Municipal Sanitary Sewer System, previously ~ V!
amended by Ord. No. 141, is hereby amended in its
entirety To read as follows:
(5) The charge for sewer sTructures connected To the -

Section 11(C) of Ord. No. 49, previousty amended by
Ortl. No. 141 and Ord. No. 153, is hereby amended to
subsTitute the following table regarding effective dates
of delinquency penalties:

Section 4. Permissible Retluctions for Senior Citizens
and Disabled Citizens. The Council may, by resolution
at its reasonable discretion, provide for reduced
charges for usage of the Municipal Sanitary Sewer
System in cases of ownership or occupancy of the
subjecT property by ciTizens 65 years of age or older or
by ciTizens who are toTally disabled within the meaning
of Social SecuriTy regulations.
SecTion S. EffecTive Date. This ordinance shall be
effective from and afTer the first day of January, 1973,
buT noT before iTs passaqe and publication.
