The City Council of Arden Hills ordains: Secfion 1. Prohibition of Alcoholic and Intoxicating Beverages in Public Parks. No person shall transporT, possess, offeifor sale, consume or be under the in- fluence of any beer, wine, liquor or other alcoholic or imoxicating beverages in any park, open or enclosed space, playground, picnic area, school ground, beach, park, arena, concession, playing field or courT, siruc- ture, building, or facility, including all parking lots, paths or roadways appurtenanT Thereto or used therewiih, with is owned, operated or conirolled by the Cify of Arden Hills or located wiThin the City of Arden Hills buT ownetl, operated or conirolled by any other political or governmental subdivision and which is devoTed, designated or inTended for acTive or passive recreation. "Person^ for the purposes hereof is a naTural person, firm, parfnership, associaTion, cor- poraTion, company or organization of any kind. SecTian 2. Violations and Penalties. Any person violating any ot ihe provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilfy of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not more ihan Three Hunqretl Dollars (8300.00) or by imprisonmenT of not more ihan nineTy (90) days, or by both. Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effecT from and after its passage and publication according to law.
