The following Sections of (hdinance Nuinber 16, knawn as the Arden Hills Bnilding Code, are hereby amended to read as follaws: 8-1 Befure any person, firm or carpo- ration shall engage in the business of doing or performing any of the var- ious types aE work listed in the Sec- tion, they shall first obtain a license td do so as hereinafter provided: Number I- Electric wiring. Number 2- Plumbing, including in- stallation of autside sewage disposal plants. Niunber 3- Heating. Number 4- Gas installation, inclur.l- ing heating, appliances, devices or machinery, ete. Number 5- Well drilling. Ntmber 6- House sewer contractar. No license shall be required for a hause szwer contractar performing ' work on or adjacent to his own prem- ises in the connectian of a house sew- er serving his awn property, noY shall a license be required from a plwmber holding a plnmbzr's ]icense in this Village. S-6 Each applicant,for a license shall satisfy the gnvemmg bady that he is camnetent by rcason o[ education, special training, experience and that he is eqwipped. td perform the Wark for which a license is requested in ac- cordance with all state laws, Villagz or town ordinances and this building code. 8-7 The governing baly shail have the power to suspend or revdke the license of any person, partnership, firm ar wrparation, ;icensed under the regulations of this cade, for anp vialatian aE the ordinances of this Village with respect to the work for which such license is granted, or in any instance where the woYk so per- formed is Raimd to be imgraper or defective ar so unsafe as to jeapar- dize life ar property, prdviding the person halding such license is given rivenTv (ZO) days natice and granted the opportunity to be heard before such actLon is taken. IF and when such natice is sent td the legal ad- dress of the licensee and he fails or refusea to appcar at the said hearing, his license will be autoanatically sws- pended or revoked five (5) days af- ter date of hearing. SECTION 2. Except as herein speciFically amended said Ordinance Number 16, subject to amendments not inc7ansistent with the prdvisians containzd herein, is in all things affirmed and ratified.
