AN ORDINANCE REZOi3ING MINNESOTA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
TRUCK STATION SITE AT NORTHWEST
CORNER OF TWIN CITIES ORDNANCE PLANT
The City Council of Arden Hills ordains:
Section Z. Rezoninq of Property. Pursuant to the
provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the City, which is contained
in Appendix A of the Arden Hills Code, a proceeding to rezone the
parcel of land hereinafter described was initiated by application
filed with the Clerk-Administrator. A public hearing to review the
application was held by the Planning Commission of the City on
January 6, 1988. The application was further scrutinized by the
City Council at its regular CounciT meeting held on February 8,
1988.
As determined by the City Council and upon
recommendation of the Planning Commission, the Zoning Ordinance of
the City and the Zoninq District Map af Arden Hills which is a part
of the Zoning Ordinance shall be changed to reflect that the
following described parcel of land is hereby rezoned from 11R-1" to
^I-Zn:
The legal description of the subject parcel of
land is set forth on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof.
On the next reprinting of the Zoning Ordinance, and/or
the Zoning District Map, the Zoning Administrator is hereby
directed to have the Zoning District Map changed to reflect the
rezoninq of the aforedescribed parcel of land.
Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be
effective from and after its passage and publication.

Legal Description of Possible Zoning Change From R-1 to I-2
A tract of land situated in the northwest quarter of Section 9, 7ownship
30 North, Range 23 West more specifically described as follows: Beginning
at a point on the north line of said northwest quarter distant 50 feet westerly
of the northeast corner thereof; thence southerly along a line parallel with
the east line of said northwest quarter, 550 feet; thence westerly along
a line parallel with the north ]ine of said northwest quarter, 1425.22 feet;
thence southerly along a line run para11e1 with the west line of said northwest
quarter to its intersection with the south line of the northwest quarter
of the northwest quarter of said section 9; thence run westerly on the south
line of said northwest quarter of the northwest quarter to its intersection
with the west line of the east half of said northwest quarter of the northwest
quarter; thence run northerly on the west line of said east half af the
northwest quarter of northwest quarter to its intersection the north line
of said section 9; thence run easterly on the north line of said section
