ORDINANCE N0.204
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 112,
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE LICENSING
OF VENDING MACHINES, TO EXCEPT FOOD AND
CERTAIN OTHER RELATED VENDING MACHINES
FROM ITS PURVIEW
The CiTy Council of Arden Hills ordains:
Section 1. Renumbering of Sedions 3 and 4 of Or-
dinance No. 112. Sections 3 and 4 of Ordinance No. 112,
respectively entitled "Penalty" and "Effeciive DaTe",
are hereby renumbered SectiOns 4 and 5 Thereof.
Section 2. Addition of New Section 3 to Ordinance No.
112 Excepting Food and Certain Other Related Vending
Machines From Its Purview. Ordinance No. 112 is
hereby amended by adding Thereto a new Section 3
which is entitled and reads as follows:
"Section 3. Exceptions. Notwithstanding anything
herein To the contrary, food vending machines and
vending machines dispensing only bottled or canned
soft drinks or ice manufacTuretl and packaged by
another - as those terms are used and defined in
Section 28A.01 et seq. of MinnesoTa Statutes, as
amended, and rules and regulations promulgated by the
MinnesoTa Department of AgriculTure - are hereby
excepted from the purview of ihis Ordinance."
Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force from and afTer its passage and
publication.

SepTember, 1978.
