HomeMy WebLinkAbout#222 Amend Sec 6-16 Uniform Building Code L STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF ARD,EN HILLS ORDINANCE N0. 222 AN ORDINRNCE AMEIVDING SECTION 6-16 OF ARDEN HILLS CODE TO CHANGE REIFERENCE TO UNIFORM BUILDING CODE The City Council of the City of Arden Hills ordains: Section l. Amendment of Section 6-16 of the Arden Hills Code. Section 6-16 o the Arden Hills Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Sec. 6-16. Building.Code. The state b',uilding code (including the Uniform Building Code, published by the International Conference of BUilding Officials as now constituted (i.e., the 1979 edition) and as hereafter amended by subsequent editions), as now constituted and hereafter amendod, is hereby adopted as part of the building code of the City, is incorporated by reference in this Code, and shall be as much a part of this Code as though it had been set forth in full herein. There shall be at least three (3) copies of said state building code, so adopted, marked as official copies and filed in the office of the Clerk-Administrator. Whenever the state building code, or the Uniform Building Code which is a part thereof, is revised or amended, three (3) copies of each said amendment shall be substituted for the original provisions so amended and become a part of the official c!opies on file with the Clerk- Administrator." Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be effective from and after passage and publication.
