County H/35W Interchange
The County Road H/I35W Interchange Project Management Team (PMT) met for its monthly
meeting on Thursday morning. There was discussion regarding how the CR H interchange fits
into the broader, long term picture for I35W, Highway 10, and the interchanges at CR I and CR
J. It is important that the CR H interchange is consistent with future plans for expansion of
I35W. However, there is not, at this time, a clear plan for future expansion of I35W. It was
discussed that the solution for the County H interchange may be to make the bridge span as long
as practically feasible, so that it can accommodate as well as possible the future expansion.
The. PMT also discussed funding sources for the CR H interchange, including State and Federal
funds.
OTP Amendment #8
The OTP (Offer To Purchase) amendment, which extends the time line for agreement on the
purchase price credits to May 15, 2009, has been signed by the Army.
