TCAAP Update

County H/35W Interchange
We are working with Mn/DOT and the Federal Highway Administration to determine how to
address the issue of how the long term traffic congestion on 135W impacts the level of service
that can be provided by the CRH/I35W interchange. This will be a key topic at the October 4
meeting of the CRH/I35W Interchange Project Management Team (PMT). Also, a letter is being
drafted to the new Mn/DOT Metro District Engineer regarding State funding for the interchange.
Transfer Documents
The attorneys for the City, RRLD, and the Army will be meeting on October 7 to work through
the language of the transfer documents in an effort to get them into a final form. Mike
Comodeca will arrive in town on the afternoon on October 6, and would be available to address
questions from staff or Council.
