2009-2013 Capital Improvement Plan

The Council has received the proposed 2009-2013 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The CIP
reflects the projected capital expenditure needs over the next five years. The CIP is a planning
tool that enables a broader and longer term view of expenditures and related funding sources. It
is not a document that finalizes decisions or authorizes specific purchases.
Council Direction Requested
At the work session, the Council will have an opportunity to discuss their long term views
regarding the various categories of capital expenditures, particularly capital improvements and
equipment replacement. This can include a discussion of priorities, and a discussion of potential
funding sources that could make the priorities financially feasible.
