SUBJECT: Resignation of Steve Zilmer

On Monday, December 8, 2008, Steve Zilmer submitted his official resignation from the Parks,
Trails, and Recreation Committee (PTRC). Mr. Zilmer has been unable to make the last four
PTRC meetings and indicated his schedule will not allow him to finish his current term. As the
guidelines state, this vacant committee position will assume the term that the resigning individual
was serving. Mr. Zilmer's term was set to expire in 2009. This vacant position will be filled by
one of the recommended appointments scheduled for later on this evening's agenda.

Sorry this is taking so long. November was not a good month for me.
After rethinking about resigning I still feel it is best to resign.

for all you have done for the PTRC. I have enjoyed working with you.
Effective immediately I resign from the PTRC.
