Appointment of Todd Hansen to the Position of Public Works Maintenance
Worker
BACKGROUND
The City recently completed a recruitment and selection process for the vacant Public Works
Maintenance Worker position. The top candidate was determined to be Todd Hansen. Todd has a
broad range of maintenance experience; he has held several different positions with the Mounds
View School District maintenance department for the past twenty years.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that Todd Hansen be appointed to the position of Public Works Maintenance
Worker effective March 25,2009, at a starting wage of$21.49 per hour.
COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED
Motion to appoint Todd Hansen to the position of Public Works Maintenance Worker effective
March 25, 2009, at a starting wage of $21.49 per hour, contingent upon successful results of a
criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
