RESOLUTION NO. 2008-056
RESOLUTION ADJUSTING THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT IWLL
FOR TAX PARCEL 34-30-23-22-0028
WHEREAS, on September 17, 2007 the Arden Hills City Council adopted Resolution
No. 07-68, entitled "Adjusting the Special Assessment Roll for Tax Parcel 34-30-23-22c0028";
and
WHEREAS, the Resolution No. 07-68 indicated that the remaining principal balance for
the special assessmeuts against tax parcel 34-30-23-22-0028 as of 1/1/08 was $2,733; and
WHEREAS, the remaining principal balance for the special assessments on tax parcel
34-30-23-22-0028 as of 1/1/08 should have been $2,333.31.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Arden Hills City Council that:
1. The special assessment levied against tax parcel no. 34-30-23-22-0028 by the City
of Arden Hills pursuant to resolution no. 07-68 are amended in the following
manner:
As ofJanuary 1, 2008 the remaining principal balance shall be $2,333.31.
2. Such adjusted assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending
. over a period of nine (9) years, lmless prepaid, the first installment to be payable
With the general taxes levied in 2007, collectable with such taxes during the year
2008, and shall bear interest at the rate of 9% per annum from January 1, 2008.
To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from
January 1, 2008 until December 31, 2008. To each subsequent installment when
due shall be added interest for one (1) year on all unpaid inStallments.
3. The City Administrator shall forthwith prepare and transmit a certified duplicate
ofthis adjusted assessment roll to be extended on the property lists of the county.
Such special assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as
other municipal taxes.
