Home My WebLink About2009-007 ~ ~HlLLS CITY OF ARDEN HILLS COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2009-007 A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 2009 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement of the City of Arden Hills 2009 Pavement Management Program, the improvement of the following streets: Arden Place, from Old Snelling to Glenarden Road, Glenarden Court, from Skiles Lane to Glenarden Road, Glenarden Road, from Old Snelling to cul-de-sac, Forest Lane, from Old Snelling to Glenarden Road, Skiles Lane, from Old Snelling to Glenarden Road, Snelling Avenue N, from Arden Place to cul-de-sac, bids were received on Thursday, April 9, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., opened, and tabulated according to the law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER AMOUNT Frattalone Companies, Inc. $ 1,196,405.98 I Asphalt Surface Technologies Com. $ 1,289,093.98 Rum River Contracting Company $ 1,328,901.10 North Valley Inc. $ 1,346,649.67 T. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. $ 1,362,879.31 Palda and Sons, Inc. $ 1,377,358.30 Kuechle Underground Inc. $ 1,388,894.33 Amt Construction Company, Inc. $ 1,414,952.46 Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. $ 1,456,624.85 North Pine Aggregate, Inc. $ 1,498,622.50 Park Construction Company, Inc. $ 1,508,640.67 Hardrives, Inc. $ 1,525,816.57 Midwest Asphalt Corporation $ 1,572,635.70 AND WHEREAS, it appears that Frattalone Companies, Inc. of Little Canada, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $1,196,405.98; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA: I. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Frattalone Companies, Inc. of Little Canada, Minnesota, for $1,196,405.98 in the name of the City of Arden Hills for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator. 2.
