TRUTH-IN-TAXATION HEARING & PRESENTATION
DECEMBER 1, 2008; 6:30 P.M.
ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Stan Harpstead called to order the Truth-
in-Taxation Hearing at 6:30 p.m.
Present:
Mayor Stan Harpstead, Councilmembers David Grant, Brenda Holden,
David McClung, and Fran Holmes.
Absent:
None.
Also present were City Administrator Ron Moorse and Finance Director Susan Iverson
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember McClung seconded a
motion to approve the Truth-in- Taxation hearing agenda as presented.
The motion carried unanimously (5-0).

A. Truth-in Taxation Hearine: and Presentation
Finance Director IversOli presented the 2009 Tax Levy and Proposed Budget.
The following residents addressed the council with questions;
Resident Robert Jacobson (3530 Ridgewood Rd) asked "will the recent drop in
property values be taken into account in the increased taxes proposed for fiscal year
2009?"
Resident Douglas Wild (3568 Ridgewood Ct.)

MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Mayor Harpstead seconded a motion to
adjou 'ng. The motion carried unanimously (5-0).
