RESOLUTION NO. 2009-034
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A THREE HOUR TIME LIMIT FOR ALL
CITY MEETINGS
WHEREAS,the City Council of Arden Hills wants to conduct all City meetings
with efficiency and effectiveness; and
WHEREAS, the Council wants to balance the City Council needs for public
input with the need for making decisions and moving ahead with projects,programs, and
services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wants to extend the idea of conducting effective,
efficient and decisive meetings to City Council work sessions and special meetings;
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arden Hills that:
All City meetings will have a three hour time limit, unless a motion is made,
seconded, and approved by majority present, to extend the meeting for a
certain period of time, or until a certain time.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN
