Arden Hills,MN 55112
Dear Mr. Moorse,
The Ramsey County Library is facing significant budget challenges that very specifically impact the future of
the current Arden Hills branch library. County funding allows operations at the Arden Hills branch to
continue through December 31,2010,but to continue library service to the Arden Hills/New Brighton area
past this date we will need to find acost-effective building solution within the next twelve months. .
Susan Nemitz,Ramsey County Library director, and I have formed a task force comprised of ourselves and
some library patrons from the Arden Hills/New Brighton area. We would like to request twenty minutes of
time on your council agenda in late January of early February to discuss the future of the Ramsey County
Library branch in Arden Hills.
Thank you very much for your consideration of our request.
