DATE: January 25, 2010 TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council Members

SUBJECT: Library Committee Presentation
Background
At the December 21, 2009 Special City Council meeting, the Council requested that an
item be placed on the agenda at the January 19th worksession for a content discussion on
the library situation, and time set aside at the January 25th Regular City Council meeting
for a 10-minute presentation for greater information to the public.
Meg Robertson and members of the library task force committee were present at the
January 19th worksession and had a discussion with the City Council about the future of
the Ramsey County Library branch in Arden Hills. They will be present at the City
Council meeting to provide an update for the public.
Council Action
None. A presentation will be made for public information.
