SUBJECT: City Administrator Recruitment Update
Background
The City has hired The Brimeyer Group to conduct its search for a new City
Administrator and has appointed Sue Iverson as the Acting City Administrator in the
interim.
Council Action
The application deadline has been extended to February15, 2010. As of February 2
y ,
2010, the consultant reports that there are over 50 applicants for the position. March 8
2010 is the tentative date that the consultant would like to meet with the City Council to
present the top ten candidates from which the Council will choose the finalists.
March 26th and 27th have been schedule for interview
s. The Council well be meeting with
the Consultant before the meeting to discuss the process.
