SUBJECT: Resolution 2010-022 Designating Polling Places and Absentee Ballot
Board Counting Location for the 2010 Primary and General Elections
BACKGROUND
Pursuant to state statutes, the City Council must designate polling places and the absentee ballot
board counting location. The polling places remain unchanged since the 2008 election. The
absentee ballot board counting location is a new requirement and City Hall was designated as
that location by the City of Arden Hills Election Committee.
RECOMMENDATION
Motion to approve Resolution 2010-022 Designating Polling Places and Absentee Ballot Board
Counting Location for the 2010 Primary and General Elections.

RESOLUTION DESIGNATING POLLING LOCATIONS AND ABSENTEE BALL�T
BOARD COUNTING LOCATION FOR THE
2010 PRIMARY AND GENERAL ELECTIONS
WHEREAS, the State Primary Election is August 10, 2010 and the State General
Election is November 2, 2010; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 204B.16, Subd. 1 requires the City Council, by
ordinance or resolution, to designate the polling places for the City for these elections.
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 204B.16 Subd. 3 requires polling place changes to be
made at least ninety (90) days prior to the State primary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Arden Hills City Council hereby
designates the following precincts and polling places:
