SUBJECT: Pubic Works Director Position
Back�round
On April 27, 2010, Greg Hoag, Public Works Director submitted his letter of resignation
to the City. His last day of employment with the City of Arden Hills will be May 1l,
2010.
Background
The Personnel Committee will meet before the Council Meeting on May lOth at 5:00 p.m.
to discuss the job description for this position and the wording for the posting of this
position. They hope to bring forth a recommendation for the posting of this position to
start the hiring process. The complete j ob description, the timing of hiring the Public
Works Superintendent, and the transition process will also be discussed at this meeting to
bring forth a recommendation to the May l Oth City Council meeting.
Council Action
Authorize advertising for the Public Works Director position per the recommendation of
the Personnel Committee.
