SUBJECT: Arden Village Workforce Housing — Continuation of Revised Letter of
Support for Housing Tax Credit Application
Action Request
Consider a motion to continue to the June 14, 2010 meeting, the Sand Companies, Inc. Request
for a Letter of Support for Housing Tax Credits with the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency for
up to $575,000 in Public Assistance.
Back�round
Staff is asking that this item be continued to the June 14 meeting in order to provide additional
time to review assistance options. The Financial Planning and Analysis Committee is meeting
on June 8 to go over the information provided by Sand Companies, Inc and the appraisal for the
tower. In addition, it will be helpful to continue the Council's discussion of the letter of support
to a meeting where all Councilmembers will be present.
