This update regarding the staging of the advertisements was given to the City Council at its MaylOth meeting. More recently, the Personnel Committee met on May 26th to discuss Public Works department and staffing. At this meeting the hiring process for the Public Works Director was discussed as was the Superintendent position. After a somewhat detailed and lengthy discussion on staffing and personnel, the Personnel Committee recommended that Joe Mooney, Acting Public Works Foreman be offered the Public Works Superintendent position.
