SUBJECT: 2010 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project- Change Order #1
Back�round
At the May 24, 2010 City Council meeting, the City Council awarded the 2010 sanitary
sewer lining project to Lametti & Sons, Inc., in the amount of $79,839. The budgeted
amount for this proj ect was $125,000.00. Due to the very favorable bids for this proj ect,
City Council asked staff to talk with the contractor about the possibility of adding to the
project. Staff contacted Lametti & Sons about adding an additional 1,066 feet of lining to
the proj ect. The attached map shows the location of the additional footage. Lametti &
Sons has agreed to complete this additional work at the original contract price. This
additional work will cost $28,216. The new total project cost will be $108,055.
Recommendation
It is recommended that Council authorize the sewer lining proj ect change order with
Lametti & Sons, Inc. for $28,216 to complete an additional 1,066 feet of lining.
Council Action Requested
Motion to authorize Change Order # 1 with Lametti & Sons, Inc. for $28,216 to complete
an additional 1,066 feet of sanitary sewer lining.
