SUBJECT: TCAAP Reuse and Public Sale Update
General Service Administration (GSA) Update
According to Deepa DeAlwis, of the MPCA, the Land Use Control Remedial Design (LUCRD)
document was finalized and approve by MPCA and EPA earlier this month. So the land use
controls are now in place and are enforceable. Staff has not been able to successfully contact
Mr. Legare this past week; however, in our last conversation he had stated that he is still working
on incorporating this language in to the draft IFB. Once he has completed drafting the land use
restrictions into the IFB he has stated that he will send the draft to the City for review and
comment.
Staff has sent out updates to the City's neighboring communities, Ramsey County, and the
Metropolitan Council regarding the TCAAP property.
Ramsey County Park and Open Space Requests
Ramsey County has begun the Voluntary Investigation and Cleanup (VIC) program with the
MPCA on the parcels of land to be transferred to the County. It is anticipated that the process
will be completed in mid 2011.
