City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />1~ebnmry 10, 2010 <br />IV. APPROVAL OF COUNCIL MINUTES <br />1. January 27, 2010 Council Meeting Minutes <br />Motion bj Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Love to approve <br />the Janua 27 2010 Council Meeting Minutes as presented. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />V. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. City of Centerville January 28, 2010 through February 10, 2010 Claims (Check <br />#25147 — 25170) & (Check #'s 25146 & 25169 VOIDED) & (Check #25171- <br />25186) <br />2. Centennial Fire District Claims through February 1, 2010 (Check #4147 — 4153) <br />3. Centennial Lakes Police Department Claims through January 28, 2010 (Check # <br />7637-7658) <br />Motion by Council Member Paar seconded by Council Member Febrenbacher to <br />approve the Consent A Enda as amended. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />VI. AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br />1. Recognition/Presentation - Mr. Tom Lee <br />In recognition of Tom Lee's past service on Centerville's City Council, Mayor Capra <br />presented Mr. Lee with "the gift of time" in the form of a clock award. <br />Mr. Tom Lee thanked Mayor Capra and the City Council. He stated he has reflected over <br />the work done the last nine years noting that much was accomplished. He stated that he <br />didn't realize how much time was committed to doing City Council work until he was no <br />longer doing it. He closed in saying that he knows he leaves the City in great hands and <br />appreciates all the work the City Council does. <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS <br />Ron <br />VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br />Naming of Two (2) Parks <br />Mayor Capra reviewed the recommendation from Parks and Recreation. in regard to the <br />naming of two parks that are to be included in the updated park, sidewalk and trail map. <br />The recommendation is to approve the names of Cornerstone Park for the piece of park <br />Page 2of3 <br />9 <br />
