I City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> November 24, 2010 <br /> ' VII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. Res. #10-033; Amendin�vment for Special Assessment on Hunter's Crossing <br /> II Improvements <br /> City Administrator Larson reported this involves six parcels of Hunter's Crossing with <br /> payment agreements from property owners. <br /> Motion bv Council Member Love, seconded bv Council Member Paar to adopt Res. <br /> #10-033 amending navment for suecial assessment on Hunters Crossing II <br /> Improvements. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> 2. Bud e�quipment Issues <br /> City Administrator Larson distributed a document proposing the option of not trading the <br /> skid loader. He added the City could move the fire department's garage to Laurie <br /> LaMotte Memorial Park, store the skid loader and the Little League would be allowed to , <br /> utilize the garage for storage of their lawn mower used in grooming the in field. By ' <br /> doing this, the equipment would be readily available. He added the total cost for this <br /> option would be about $35,000. <br /> The Council questioned where the building would be located. City Administrator Larson � <br /> stated it would be located by the trail on the westerly edge of the park. <br /> Public Works Director Palzer answered Council's questions and reviewed the reasons <br /> that this alternative is preferred to replacing the Massey Ferguson Tractor. <br /> Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded bv Council Member <br /> Fehrenbacher approvin� staff's recommendation, as uresented. All in favor. I <br /> Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> II. PUBLIC HEARING(S) (continued) <br /> 1. Delinquent Sewer, Water & Garba�e Services Associated with the 3 4�' <br /> Quarters of 2009 and the 1 St and 2 quarters of 2010 Utilitv Bi11in�Cvcles <br /> Being no public input, Mayor Capra requested a motion closed the Public Hearing <br /> regarding assessment of delinquent utility charges at 6:54 p.m. <br /> Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded bv Council Member Love <br /> to close the public hearing resarding assessment of delinquent sewer, water and <br /> garbage charges.
