<br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />October 5, 2010 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission held its regularly <br />scheduled meeting on October 5, 2010, at 7:15 p.m. The meeting started late pending a quorum. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> Commissioner Thomas Wood <br /> Commissioner Jim Wekseth <br />Commissioner Olaf Lee <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> Chairperson Darrin Mosher <br /> <br />Commissioner Eric Larson <br /> <br />Council member D Love <br /> <br />STAFF: <br /> Administrator Dallas Larson <br /> <br />OTHERS PRESENT: <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER. <br />The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Wood. <br /> <br /> <br />1.Roll Call <br /> <br /> <br />II.PUBLIC INPUT/HEARING <br /> <br /> None. <br /> <br /> <br />III.OLD BUSINESS <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />1.Proposed Code amendment to permit hydro-seed as an alternative to sod <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed a draft ordinance amending the City Code to permit use <br />of hydro-seed as an alternative to sod in some situations. The consensus was that <br />the draft language would be acceptable. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Wood, seconded by Commissioner Wekseth to <br />schedule a public hearing at the next meeting to consider the Code <br />amendment. All in favor. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Affordable Housing Action Plan. <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed the draft Affordable Housing Action Plan. Since there <br />are not serious consequences if the City should be unable to attain the goals, <br />members were satisfied with the Plan. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />
