CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> ORDINANCE # <br /> SECOND SERIES <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE, CHAPTER 153, SECTIONS 153.44 <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE ORDAINS: <br /> Section 1. City Code Chapter 153, Section 153.44, J is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> (J) Sodding. The developer must sod the front yard, boulevard and side yards <br /> to the rear of the structure on every lot-the balance of the lot shall be seeded. The <br /> required sodding and seeding shall be placed prior to occupancy. An escrow deposit <br /> shall be submitted to the city in a dollar amount sufficient to guarantee the required <br /> sodding. Hydro-seeding may be substituted for sod subject to: 1) Two rows of sod shall <br /> be placed along the curb and any other adjoining pavements, erosion control as approved <br /> by the Building Official shall be placed at the property lines and next to water features, <br /> and 2) the site deposit shall be retained until the vegetation is fully established. This shall <br /> not prevent a developer from establishing lot covenants requiring sod, in which case this <br /> substitution shall not be allowed. <br /> Section 2.
