MEMO <br /> TO: Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> FROM: Kim Stephan <br /> DATE: December 29, 2011 <br /> SUBJECT: Updates <br /> January 8, 2011 Skate Night with Horse Drawn Hay Ride <br /> Skate Night is scheduled for Saturday January 8 from 6 — 9 p.m. with the horse drawn hayride being <br /> provided by Bunker Stables from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The $100 deposit has been sent to Bunker Stables with <br /> the balance due at the time of service. I have the check for the balance which I can either mail or give to a <br /> committee member to give to the driver of the hayride at the time of the service. I need to know what <br /> supplies are needed and will go to Sam's Club. <br /> February 5, 2011 Skate Night with Star Grazing and Snow Shoeing <br /> I will need an invoice from Wargo Nature Center to have a check issued for the event. <br /> Sand Volleyball Court — Dead Broke Saddle Club Donation $2,500 <br /> No updates at this time from Mr. Palzer. <br /> Centennial Little League's Use of Ball Fields at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park <br /> We received a letter from Centennial Little League requesting the use of the fields for 2011. I requested <br /> information from Mr. Palzer as to the agreement for dragging and mowing the fields. Mr. Larson asked to <br /> wait and have this item brought to Parks & Recreation in February as Mr. Palzer and Mr. Larson will be <br /> meeting with Mr. Mahr, Centennial Little League to discuss the dragging and mowing agreement in the next <br /> few weeks. <br /> The Centerville Lions Club donated $1,000 in 2010 towards the maintenance of the ball fields at Laurie <br /> LaMotte Memorial Park, with an additional pledge of $500 per year for the same purpose moving forward. <br />
