L <br /> 3" <br /> TO: Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> FROM: Kim Stephan <br /> DATE: January 25, 2011 <br /> SUBJECT: Centennial Little League Request to Use Ball Fields & Facilities at <br /> Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park April through August 2011 <br /> Attached is a letter received December 14, 2010 from Centennial Lakes Little League <br /> requesting use of the ball fields and facilities at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park for the <br /> 2011 season. <br /> Following is the motion the committee made for 2010 for your review: <br /> The Parks and Recreation Committee made the following recommendation for City <br /> Council consideration at their December 2, 2Q09 committee meeting. City Council <br /> approved the recommendation at the regularly scheduled December 9, 2009 City Council <br /> Meeting. <br /> Motion was made by Committee Member Haiden, seconded by Committee Member <br /> Peterson to recommend Ciry Council approve the request from Centennial Lakes Little <br /> League to use the three baseball and softball fields and facilities located at Laurie <br /> LaMotte Memorial Park for the summer months of 2010 beginning April 1 through <br /> August IS, Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. until dark with the same service <br /> provided by Public Works Staff in regards to grooming the fields prior to games. All in <br /> Favor. Motion passed unanimously. <br />
