City Counci12011-01-12 <br /> Summary of Meeting <br /> Present were Mayor Wilharber, Fehrenbacher, Love, King and Paar. Mike J was also <br /> present. <br /> 1. Council approved the consent agenda which contained routine items along with <br /> approval for Public Works to assist the Lions club with the annual fishing contest by <br /> cleaning the parking lot at Waterworks as scheduling permits. <br /> 2. The Council approved the annual agreement with Anoka County for recycling <br /> programs. <br /> 3. Council adopted a resolntion recertifying the assessment to a lot in Hunters Crossing <br /> 3 rd Addn. <br /> 4. Council adopted a resolution providing for an order of succession to the mayor. <br /> 5. The Council adopted a resolution providing for authority relating to banking <br /> transactions. <br /> 6. The Council adopted a resolution approving appointments to committees for 2011. <br /> 7. The Council gave a green light to P&Z to develop regulations that would permit <br /> keeping of honeybees in the city. <br /> 8. Mayor Wilharber proposed a 25% reduction in pay for mayor and council. The matter <br /> died when he could not get a second to his motion to implement the reduction. <br /> 9. Council discussed the quarterly meeting of local government officials that will be in I <br /> Anoka on January 26, the same time as the regular meeting. Council discussed the <br /> possibility of attending the meeting and then holding a short meeting following that to <br /> take care of any essential business. That will be the plan unless some business comes I <br /> up that cannot be accommodated in that fashion. <br /> 10. The Council agreed to have a work session on February 9 following their regular <br /> meeting. The purpose will be to consider goals for 2011. i <br /> 11.
