CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />December 8, 2010 <br />6:30 p.m. <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled <br />meeting on December 8, 2010, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br />PRESENT: Mayor Mary Capra <br />Council Member Linda Broussard Vickers <br />Council Member Jeff Paar p <br />Council Member Ben Fehrenbacher <br />Council Member D. Love Aipyj <br />ABSENT: None. <br />STAFF: City Administrator Dallas Larson <br />City Finance Director Mike Jeziorski <br />City Attorney Kurt Glazer <br />City Engineer Mark Statz <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Capra called the December 8, 2010, City Council meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />II. INPUT HEARING(S) <br />1. Budget & Tax Levies for 2011 <br />Finance Director Jeziorski presented the 2011 Budget and Tax Levies. He indicated the <br />General Tax Levy will increase .69% and the Debt Service Levy will increase 4.9% with <br />an overall increase of 1.7%. He stated that the 2011 revenues are proposed to decrease <br />4% with expenditures decreasing 8%. General Government is proposed to have a 3% <br />decrease, Public Safety a 4% decrease, Public Works a 3% decrease, Culture and <br />Recreation a 4% decrease, Economic Development a 46% decrease, and Recycling a 1% <br />decrease. <br />Mayor Capra opened the Public Hearing at 6:39 p.m. <br />Mr. Luxenburg, 1697 Peltier Lake Drive, questioned the number of full-time City <br />employees and the amount of vacation and sick time the employees receive annually. <br />Finance Director Jeziorski indicated Public Works has five full-time employees and <br />Administration has five full-time employees for a total of ten. <br />
