City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />December 8, 2010 <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Paar <br />approving the final payment request for Asphalt Surface Technologies Corporation <br />in the amount of $15,473.25 for the 2010 Seal Coat Proiect. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />4. Proposed Amendment to City Code, Chapter 51 — Mandatory Municipal <br />Sewer/Water Connection -2017 <br />City Administrator Larson reported that when the City was doing the 2009 street project, <br />the mandatory date for connecting to City water, which currently has a deadline of 2012, <br />was anticipated to be pushed further into the future. This proposed ordinance has <br />deadline date of 2017, but the Council can choose a different date, if it wishes. <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Fehrenbacher approving the amendment to City Code, Chapter 51, Mandatory <br />Municipal Water Connection to 2017. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Tobacco/Liquor License Renewals — 2011 <br />City Administrator Larson presented a listing of the tobacco/liquor license renewals for <br />2011. There are three licenses subject to outstanding property taxes, some of which are <br />tenants. He added that this should be resolved within the next couple of weeks. <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers <br />approving the 2011 Tobacco/Liquor License renewals continent on good standing <br />of outstandin-2 real estate taxes. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br />City Administrator <br />None. <br />2. Mayor Capra <br />Mayor Capra reported that the Centennial Lakes Police Department Governing Board <br />met regarding the advertisement for the Police Chief with the hopes to have a new Chief <br />in March. Also, the Parks & Recreation Committee is looking to ban tobacco products in <br />the parks and will be working on that item. <br />X.
